Flood Relief

The interventions of SJSS in Kerala flood on 2018 were remarkable. 150 volunteers worked hard in Flood relief activities. Under the leadership of SJSS, priests and nuns from the diocese whole-heartedly involved in the disaster relief programmes. As the part of the Disaster relief programmes, SJSS took initiatives in construction and reconstruction of houses, installation of basic facilities, awareness programmes, distribution of Health and nutrition kits.
The SJSS is always trying to raise the marginalized people through different awareness and empowerment programmes. The SJSS paves the way for people to stand their own foot through the implementation of different projects. The St Joseph’s Service Society under the inspiring leadership of Archbishop Mar Kuriakose Bharanikulangara, discovers and renter selfless social services to the poor and Marginalized people in the society
