HAN project covered 7 villages of Faridabad district in the state of Haryana which is located in the northern part of India. It was also funded by CARITAS. Through this project, SJSS took intervention in the seven villages of Faridabad district through the implementation of HAN project. This project was focused on empowerment of adolescent girls on nutrition and Health by conducting awareness classes on health and hygiene, organizing medical camps, formation of health action teams. Creation of sound awareness on nutrition and health is one of the major strategies of the project. It paves the way to empower the adolescent girls by enhancing their different skills through group activities and programmes. The tenure of the project was 4 months which was started from July 2018 to November 2018.
